By Keith MitchellJanuary 17, 2020
Trials of Cold Steel III PC port

While Trails of Cold Steel III recently say a PlayStation 4 release and is scheduled for a Switch release, PC fans were wondering what was up with the PC version. After the first two games were received well, it was expected that the 3rd game would arrive on the PC. Turns out that the PC version is coming, as it announced during NIS America’s PAX South 2020 panel.

The PC port will be released on March 23, 2020, and includes 26 free cosmetics. It will be for sale on both Steam and GOG. The Steam page is also now live, here. The game will include several enhancements as well. Such as frame rate support for to 240FPS, who those who own monitors that can handle that.  Auto-saving, high-speed mode, key bindings, ultra-wide support, and upgraded visual features.

Peter “Durante” Thoman, responsible for DSFix and another of mods and fixes, as well as working with NIS America on Trails of Cold Steel I and II will be back on board to help with the PC port. Knowing that he’s back again, makes me confident this port will be amazingly good.

Look for Trails of Cold Steel III on the PC, this March 23, 2020. While you’re waiting, be sure to check out our PS4 review of the game.
