Playground Games has added a Battle Royale mode in Forza Horizon 4

By Keith MitchellDecember 11, 2019
Forza Horizon 4 Eliminator Game Mode

Well, I never imagined I’d see the day that the battle royale formula would extend out of player vs player games. But that’s exactly what just happened with Forza Horizon 4 and it’s a new game mode called Eliminator. This new game mode is free for both the Xbox One and Windows 10. I’m not making this stuff up either.

ELIMINATOR is coming to #ForzaHorizon4. Here’s what you need to know:

Here’s how it works. Up to 72 players can join in, where they’ll be able to challenge other racers to a 1 on 1 race. If they win, they get a better car, lose and you’re knocked out. This all happens while the area constantly shrinks and once it’s finished shrinking,  the remaining players will have to dash to the final destination.

Now I haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds simple enough in the implementation and it begs to ask why hasn’t something else already done this. I can’t wait to give this a spin once I get some free time.

Forza Horizon 4 is currently available on Xbox One and Windows 10.
