Death Stranding will release on both EGS and Steam

When it was officially announced (for the second time) that Death Stranding was heading to the PC, there was another uncertainty in the air. Would it release on the Epic Game Store, thanks to the partnership that 505 Games has with Epic Games? Would it be available on Steam? Well, turns out that the answer to both is yes.

In what I feel should be the way for any PC game release,  Death Stranding is coming to both storefronts. Currently, there are pre-order pages up on both the Epic Games Store and Steam.

Steam – http://store.steampowered.com/app/1190460

Of course, that’s still a long way off as it won’t be released until Summer 2020. In the meanwhile, Death Stranding has just released for the PlayStation 4 and I’m sure we’ll be hearing lots of this game from now until forever I suppose. I’ve yet to pick up my copy but rest assured that I will later on today.

Take note publishers, this is how this should be. Servicing your audience, by offering your games in multiple storefronts and by not leaving money on the table by doing exclusive deals.
