New ‘Bad Boys For Life’ Trailer has me hyped

Bad Boys For Life is almost here

Be still my beating heart, as we have a new ‘Bad Boys For Life‘ trailer that was dropped today.

I’d be lying if I hadn’t been holding on to the hope that a ‘Bad Boys’ follow-up would be released. Despite both the previous movies being fun movies to watch, especially the chemistry between Will Smith and Martin Lawerence. I would have expected the next flick to be a sure thing. Except it wasn’t and it wasn’t until the last year that things finally were put into place. To put things into perspective, ‘Bad Boys 2’ released in 2003.

In the third and final movie, we see that Marcus Burnett has goals of retiring, while Michael Lowrey just wants to be a cop for as long as possible. Tension rises, Marcus transfers out and suddenly Mike is forced to take on a new partner. Eventually, Mike finds out that someone wants him dead (who doesn’t?) and it’s up to the two to figure out who, before Lowrey takes a dirt nap.

Bad Boys for Life show both Martin Lawerence (Detective Lieutenant Marcus Burnett) and Will Smith (Detective Lieutenant Michael “Mike” Lowrey) returning as the dynamic duo. Joe Pantoliano is also back as Captain Conrad Howard, and Theresa Randle as Theresa Burnett’s wife. DJ Khaled also makes an appearance as well.

I can’t wait. Bad Boys has always revolved around the buddy cop aspect, with lots of interesting gunfights, comedy, fast cars and this one looks to have all of that. And possibly more.

Bad Boys for Life is scheduled to be released in the United States on January 17, 2020.  Count me in for two tickets, please.
