Project xCloud signups are live; public trials starting in October

Going into today’s Inside Xbox, I had a feeling that this would be the time that Xbox announced the public trials for Project xCloud. Turns out I was correct as signups for the service went live today.

If you live in the U.S, the United Kingdom, you can sign up here, while those living in Korea can sign up here. You’ll need a wireless Xbox One controller and an Android phone as well.

Currently, the preview will provide access to Halo 5: Guardians, Gears 5, Sea of Thieves and Killer Instinct. Sadly, Forza Horizon 4 isn’t one of the titles, despite it being shown off during a previous Inside Xbox.

Initially the number of participants will be small, however, Xbox plans to increase the pool of available slots throughout the preview.
