Birds of Prey Gets Official Poster

Birds of Prey

DC Comics and their properties are in an interesting place right now. The new seasons of the CW shows are getting starting back up soon, leading to Crisis on Infinite Earths. Joker won big at the Venice Film Festival and is tracking to make almost $100 million dollars its opening weekend. And now, the marketing for the first DC film of 2020 has begun via Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn).

The R-Rated film will feature Harley Quinn teaming up with Huntress, Black Canary, Renee Montoya and Cassandra Cain to take down Roman Sionis, aka Black Mask. And as the first poster (revealed on the official Twitter page) shows, it’s going to be going to be a case of “Mind Over Mayhem”.

While not the best look at the characters per se (We still don’t know how Ewan McGregor will look in the actual Black Mask), it does show the more fun nature of this film. But of course it will still be violent and action-packed via its R-Rating.

The movie will drop on February 7th, 2020.
