Zinogre makes its return in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

By Keith MitchellAugust 29, 2019
MHW-Iceborne Zinorge

When Monster Hunter World was first released unto the world, veterans of the series had hoped that a number of their favorite beasts would make it into the game. Since then, Capcom has been slowly incorporating past favorites and today, they announced one more for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, today. Everyone say hello to Zinogre.

Zinorge is a particularly nasty creature that was first introduced in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. Mainly due to its thunder attacks that put a hurting on you. Even without all that thunder, it can inflict massive damage with its tail and claws. So get ready, the thunder doggo is coming for ya and it won’t be pretty.  Outside of that, Zinogre looks better than ever.

This gives me hope that some of the other popular monsters from the series will also make the jump. Sure, several of them are now available already, but some have alluded us. Hopefully, we’ll get to see them before Capcom moves on from Monster Hunter World.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne releases on September 6th, 2019, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC version is also in the works, but we’ll have to wait until Jan. 2020 to get our hands on it.
