E. Honda, Lucia, and Poison to join the Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition Roster

Street Fighter V Arcade - Summer 2019 Character Bundle

Heads up Street Fighter and Final Fight fans, because several favorites are making the jump to the Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition roster.

Originally (accidentally) leaked via a Steam listing, Street Fighter mainstay E.Honda, along with two Final Fight characters, Lucia (Final Final 3) and Poison are coming to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. This was going to be announced at EVO 2019, which takes place this weekend. Only except since it was leaked early, Capcom had decided to officially let the cat out of the bag.

Out the three, only E.Honda is a returning character from Street Fighter universe. A character I always felt should have been on the original roster. While both Lucia and Poison are from Capcom’s beat ’em up title Final Fight. Poison was also featured in Street Fighter IV and she looks pretty much identical to that release.

That’s not all as E.Honda’s classic stage, Sento, is also being released alongside the characters. It looks like the stage of old, with some subtle changes. Each character will also receive several outfits as well.

These new characters will be available on August 4th, 2019. Which happens to be the start of the biggest fighting game tournament in North America, EVO 2019.  No price has been given

That said, I was hoping that we’d see some other fighters. Not that seeing E.Honda and Poison returning is upsetting. It’s just that we’d heard rumors that Capcom was working on new fighters and then we end up with this. I’m hoping that this was a planned leak and that they have something else that is going to blow everyone’s minds come EVO 2019’s Street Fighter V grand finals. I’m counting on it.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is now available on PS4, PC, and in arcades.
