Come Set a Dragon Ball Guinness World Record at Comic Con!

By Josh PiedraJuly 14, 2019

On Wednesday, July 17, Bluefin/Bandai, Toei, and Funimation will be attempting a Guinness World Record at San Diego ComicCon!  The record attempt seeks to achieve the largest gathering of people simultaneously performing the iconic Kamehameha super energy attack move from Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball series!

They want you to come and enjoy the experience but they are also sweetening the pot! The first 1,000 people to show up and participate will receive a free Dragon Ball Scouter accessory to wear during the world record attempt! The Kamehameha attack will be spearheaded by Sean Schemmel, the English voice actor for Goku!

There is no registration necessary for this attempt nor is an SDCC badge required. If you are interested in helping create history, you simply need to show up by 3:30 PM PDT. The attempt will happen between 4:00 and 4:30 PM PDT at the following location:

Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina
333 West Harbor Drive
San Diego, CA 92101

It is noted that it will be at the back side of the hotel near the Marina Terrace.

You can find more details on the official Facebook post regarding this attempt!
