Taming the double jump ship section in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

By now I’m sure you’re all playing IGA’s glorious return to the 2D gaming scene with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Which has been amazing so far. But I did get stuck once I picked up the double jump ability and decided to head back to the beginning of the game. Yep, that section on the ship that you couldn’t get across originally is now open to you. Except, even with the double jump ability, it’s still a bit tricky to get across. What are you to do? Well, it’s actually pretty easy.

What you need to do is wait until the moving platform gets as close as possible. Then move towards the right, fall off for a split second and then jump. Miriam will do a falling animation, so you’ll know when to jump. Once you do this, you’ll get the distance needed to clear the jump.

For your troubles, you’ll be rewarded with a pirate hat. Good Luck!
