Next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Reveal During Nintendo’s E3 Direct

Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Masahiro Sakurai

We all were hoping and wishing that we’d see a new fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate during Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct. Well, you won’t have to do that anymore as Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed that we’ll definitely see a new fighter.

As you can imagine, fans from all over the globe have been speculating for a while as to who will be added next. Many of which are thinking several characters Microsoft’s properties will make their way into the chaotic Smash Bros scene.  That being Master Chief from the Halo series, due to how both Microsoft and Nintendo have been getting pretty close over the past few months. Then there’s the Banjo-Kazooie tease from a few days ago. There’s literally a long list of characters who’d fight right in, so we’re all going to have to tune into Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct.

Personally, I’m hoping we’ll see one of the Battletoads make an appearance. It’s been far too long since we’ve seen them in action. Plus all of their wacky moves would fit right in with the rest of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster.

Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct takes plan on June 11, 2019, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET, followed by the Nintendo Treehouse Live.
