Square Enix unveiled at its E3 press conference that Dragon Quest Builders 2 is receiving a demo ahead of its July 12 release. The demo is planned for the end of June.
We also received a new trailer which covered story elements from Dragon Quest II’s Children of Hargon story. Dragon Quest Builders 2’s story mode continues to borrow from Dragon Quest II, much like the first Dragon Quest Builders game did. The video also shows how some of the villagers can now help you build complex structures which reduce the amount of fun of building things in the game. Your combat strength is also diminished thanks to the addition of Malroth as a companion.
