Yesterday, Arcade 1Up had shown off both a TMNT arcade cabinet and a Marvel arcade cabinet. Following that, they teased a surprise for today, one that they recently unveiled and ended up being a Star Wars Arcade cabinet.
Releasing later this November 2019, this Star Wars arcade will include the classic Star War games from Atari:
- Star Wars
- Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
- Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
That’s not all as this cabinet will also feature a fully functional yoke – the same one that the original Star Wars arcade included. This kit will be priced at $500, making it the most expensive unit from Arcade 1Up so far. In retrospect, the controller alone can cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. So $500 is a steal.
If you’ve always wanted this gem from the past but never could find one in good condition. Or cheap. Then this is right up your alley. Damn, another Arcade 1Up I’m going to have to pick up.
