Team Meat sent out a tweet stating that Super Meat Boy Forever has been delayed. The Super Meat Boy sequel was originally slated to release this month; however, that is no longer the case. Team Meat did not give an exact release date; however, their tweet stated that it will be “After but not too far after April 2019.” You can check out the original Tweet below:

The sequel was announced back in 2014 and then again in 2017 where it was stated that it would receive a release on Nintendo Switch. Super Meat Boy first made its debut back in 2010. The sequel was originally planned to be a mobile title; however, development was scrapped and restarted in favor of bringing the game to home consoles.
