Tokyo Ghoul [:re birth] Mobile Game Coming to the U.S.

Tokyo Ghoul [:re birth]

Bandai Namco announced that the Tokyo Ghoul [:re birth] mobile game based off of Sui Ishida’s popular manga series is coming West! The game is being given a target release window of this fall and will be available for both iOS and Android devices. 

The game will feature characters from all three seasons of the anime (Tokyo Ghoul, Tokyo Ghoul √A, and Tokyo Ghoul:re). The game utilizes a 2D environment and 3D game character models. There are 100 total characters to choose from in order to form teams for it’s 6-person tap-combo battle system. Each character has upgradable quinques as well as kagunes which will unlock special abilities. You can also gather different items to upgrade a variety of weapons.

The game originally launched in Japan in March of 2017.
