Anime Expo 2018: Seven Seas Announces New Licenses

During their panel at Anime Expo, Seven Seas Entertainment announced several new manga and light novel titles. The following titles were announced:

Light Novel

  • Division Maneuver
  • Classroom of the Elite
  • Mushoku Tensei

Manga

  • Transparent Light Blue
  • Sotsugyoushi
  • A Certain Scientific Railgun: Astral Buddy
  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Elma’s Office Lady Diary
  • Sorcerous Stabber Orphen Heed My Call, Beast!
  • Classmates
  • Dragon Quest Monsters+

On the manga side of things, Classmates is slated for a Spring 2019 release, Sotsugyoushi is slated for a Summer 2019 release, and Dragon Quest Monsters+ is slated for a Winter 2019 release. All other manga titles did not have a release time frame announced. For light novels, Classroom of the Elite and Mushoku Tensei are slated for a either a Spring or Summer 2019 release while Division Maneuver has no release time frame.

In addition to the license announcements, Seven Seas also mentioned that their Shinobi 7 division is working on and will release a My Hero Academia card game. A release date for the card game was not announced. VIZ Media currently holds the license to publish the My Hero Academia manga in North America.
