During the middle of the E3 2018 coverage rush, NIS America decided they’d try and sneak in the release date for Disgaea 1 Complete. Well, we saw it NIS America, but it was a nice try.
Disgaea 1 Complete is a remake, being released for the PlayStation 4 and Switch, on Oct 9. Besides the upgraded graphics, there will also be a new game mode called “Etna Mode”. Here you’ll be able to play the game with new characters that weren’t available in the original game.
There’s also a special edition of the game called the “Rosen Queens’s Finest Edition”. Priced at $99.99, this CE is only available at the Disgaea website and includes the following;

- Official Hardcover Art Book
- Enamel Pin Set (Set of Nine)

- Noppai Etna Flat Mousepad

Now, this definitely isn’t the same port of Disgaea that came to the PC in 2016. This looks way better than that, hands down better. DOOD!
Disgaea 1 Complete releases on October 9, 2018, on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. As fans of the series, you can bet that we’ll be waiting to get our hands on this gem. Will it stand the test of time? We’ll find out later this year.
