Corsair Is Aquiring Elgato Gaming

By Keith MitchellJune 27, 2018

Looks like Corsair has completed yet another step to become one of the biggest gaming accessories company in the world. Today they announced they have aquired Elgato Gaming.

FREMONT, CA, June 27, 2018 – CORSAIR®, a world leader in providing high-performance PC peripherals and components for gamers, enthusiasts and eSports athletes, today is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement to acquire Munich-based Elgato Gaming.

Elgato’s connected home business, Elgato Eve, will continue as an independent, separate entity under the name Eve Systems.

Corsair has also mentioned the aqusisation via a tweet, they posted earlier today.

Nothing else is known outside of what was annouced. However, from what I’m seeing on Twitter, it looks like Elgato Gaming is going to be in good hands and that’s all I was worried about.

All will be good Dan. 😃
