A Big Week For The Nintendo Switch eShop As 18 Games Are Added

By Jacob SmithApril 14, 2018

Since its release, the Nintendo Switch has been steadily expanding its library with an array of titles. From the well known and triple-a, all the way to smaller ones, Switch owners have no shortage of games to access on their portable console. With that in mind here is the list of every game released on the Switch eShop this previous week.

April 13

  • Pirates: All Aboard

One prominent and easily recognizable game on this list is Don’t Starve, the indie title that is still heralded as one of the best examples of a pure survival game in recent memory even five whole years after its initial release. Players control one of the many colorful characters trapped in a harsh and unforgiving wilderness as they struggle against the dangers of the forest and hunger. The Switch release will also include the Shipwrecked expansion as well as the Reign of Giants DLC.

Another such game is Masters of Anima, a game previously featured in our April indie watchlist. The title comes from the studio behind Space Run and features Otto, a young apprentice of Anima on a quest to save his fiancée. Players control up to a hundred guardians, each of which belongs to a special class that will utilize different abilities to help Otto defeat the evil overlord Zhar. The game plays similarly to an RTS in the vein of the Pikmin series and relies just as much on puzzle solving as it does on strategic action based gameplay.

All of these games are currently available on the Switch eShop and can be purchased and played at your leisure! This has clearly been quite an abundant week for Nintendo’s console with plenty of interesting and fun titles for gamers to choose from.
