Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Official Trailer Roars onto the Internet

By Karl SmartDecember 8, 2017
Jurassic World

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the follow up to the smash hit 2015 movie Jurassic World. After teasing us and teasing us, the first official trailer for the new movie had dropped via Youtube. The trailer features Chris Pratt returning as Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard returning as Claire Dearing, talking about returning to the island of Isla Nublar, and the site of Jurassic World, to capture and remove some of the Dinosaurs from the island before it explodes and kills all the Dinosaurs inhabiting it. Of course the real returning star is uuhh Jeff Goldblum as Dr Ian Malcome in a scene debating if Dinosaurs should be removed from Isla Nublar and brought over to the mainland to live with humanity.

Of course you can see all this and more for yourself in the trailer below.

The official synopsis for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has also been released, giving a bit more of an idea of what is actually happening rather than leaving us to guess for ourselves:

It’s been four years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles.

When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who’s still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.

With all of the wonder, adventure and thrills synonymous with one of the most popular and successful series in cinema history, this all-new motion-picture event sees the return of favorite characters and dinosaurs—along with new breeds more awe-inspiring and terrifying than ever before. Welcome to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

All we can be sure of is that there are going to be dinosaurs and lots of them, humans possibly getting all fucked up and an emotional reunion between Owen Grady and Blue, the Raptor he raised from infancy… Plus THE MUTHA FUCKING T-REX!!
