Chani Walker: Support This Extra Life Streamer

By Karl SmartOctober 23, 2017
Chani

Every November, a website by the name of Extra Life comes to life with many many great people doing the same thing: Gaming to raise money for Children’s Charities. As Extra Life puts as the default for every person that enters the donation drive:

Extra Life is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program within the gaming community. Participants fundraise year-round and pledge to game for 24 hours with one goal: to save and improve the lives of sick and injured kids. Funds raised stay local to help pediatric patients at 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America. Since 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $30 million for member hospitals. The movement, formed by gamers bonded by passion, is committed to saving and improving the lives of local kids.

Well I’m sure you will find many streamers on places like Youtube, Mixer & Twitch playing things like Overwatch, Player Unknown Battlegrounds and many other popular games that get them onto that website’s front page, I’m going to draw your attention to one particular streamer that you might want to support: Chani Walker aka PrimaKat

Now I’m going to show by bias here and give this statement: Chani is a friend of mine and has been for many years. However, she is as passionate about video games as anyone else who would come to this website. Chani’s life revolves around gaming in both the virtual realm and the physical realm. She spends her downtime playing games on her Xbox, usually in the company of her very faithful and protective cat Bailey; she also spends time playing with Australian streamers and Magic The Gathering streamers on Commander: the Gathering, as well as running her own Youtube channel; not to mention co-hosting a podcast called “There Will Be Geek“. The girl dedicates all her time to gaming and every year for the past 6 years she has been taking a day off from her work and plays horror video games to get donations for the children.

So here’s where you come into it.

Chani (left) and her cat Bailey (right) – How can you not want to watch them both?
  1. Visit Chani’s Extra Life page.
  2. Donate many spare dollars via that page
  3. Follow Chani on Twitter for when she goes live
  4. Goto where she is streaming and watch her play through The Evil Within 2
  5. Donate more spare dollars via the Extra Life page

Once you have done all that, not only will you have watched a great girl play video games and entertain you by getting the shit scared out of her, you will also be helping Children’s Hospitals all over the world live a happier and healthier life.

Charity extra life
