Ys SEVEN’s Steam Page Is Now Live

By Keith MitchellAugust 4, 2017

Relax, it’s just the Steam page, not the game!

Just a few minutes ago, XSEED Games took to Twitter, to announce that the Ys SEVEN Steam page is live. Sure, it doesn’t mean we can pre-order the game or buy it just yet. Still, it’s nice to see things are coming along and that we’ll see the game really soon. Of course soon is anytime this month, since we still don’t have an exact release date.

Sure, it’s an older title, but it was also one that was exclusive to the Sony PlayStation Portable. Now, PC gamers will be able to play this gem with upscaled HD graphics and consistent 60fps frame rate. And since it’s being added to Steam and GOG, we’ll see those lovely achievements that you love so much.

I’m not 100% sure if the system requirements for Ys SEVEN were made public or not prior, but they’re posted on the Steam page now. So, if you were running if your PC could run the game or not, the minimum and recommended specs have been posted.

MINIMUM:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8, 10
  • Processor: Intel® Core™i5 2.4GHz or higher
  • Memory: 1 GB RAM
  • Graphics: 1280×720 Intel® HD Graphics 4400
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Storage: 2 GB available space
  • Sound Card: HD Audio

RECOMMENDED:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8, 10
  • Processor: Intel® Core™i5-6400 CPU @2.70GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: 1920×1080 NVIDIA® Geforce® GTX950 or higher
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Storage: 2 GB available space
  • Sound Card: HD Audio

Now, here’s to hoping that we’ll see Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana ends up on the PC in the future.
