Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Has Gone Gold

By Keith MitchellJuly 20, 2017

Get hyped all you (me) Uncharted fans, because Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has finally gone gold. Naughty Dog sent out a recent tweet that the game is ready to be mass produced and shipped. Meaning, that you’ll be able to play Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as of August 22nd, 2017.

We're proud to announce that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has gone gold! We can't wait to get it into your hands, beginning August 22. pic.twitter.com/SBVZJD8lQb

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a standalone title in the series. Meaning that you won’t need to own any of the previous Uncharted games to play it. But wouldn’t have any of those games, including Uncharted 4? They’re awesome! The game will be available as both a digital and physical release.

In addition, if you own the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Digital Deluxe Edition, you’ll score a digital copy of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for free. Finally, if you pre-order the title, you’ll score a free copy of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy as well.

If you own a PS4 Pro, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will also support HDR and 4K. No word on if the game will be native 4K or not.  Not that it actually matters, but some people care about that.

Looks like I’ll be scheduling yet another day off to do nothing but play video games. Damn 2017, why are you so awesome for gaming this year?
