SDCC 2017 – First Look at Return of Rocko’s Modern Life

By VeronicaJuly 21, 2017
Rocko

Last month, Nickelodeon revealed that Invader Zim, Hey Arnold, and Rocko’s Modern Life would each return for their own hour-long special. Today at Comic Con, we got a sneak peak at Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling:

The preview makes tons of jokes about the new century since the show ended back in ’96. The sneak peak features everything from iPhones and 3D printers to food trucks. Still, it so far manages to feel like the original Rocko series with that familiar B-52’s theme song playing in the background. Fans will also be happy to know that the original cast are reprising their roles, and series creator Joe Murray is involved in the TV movie.

Static Cling will premiere on Nickelodeon sometime in 2018.
