Killing Floor 2 Heading To Xbox One And Xbox One X

By Keith MitchellJuly 25, 2017

Like slaughtering creatures with a vast array of weapons, but simply weren’t able to since Killing Floor 2 isn’t available on the Xbox One? Well, you’re in luck, as Tripwire Interactive has announced that Killing Floor 2 will be making its way to both the Xbox One and Xbox One X. Slated to be released on August 29th, 2017, Xbox One owners will be able to get in on the action for $39.99.

The Xbox versions will include all of the previously released content; The Tropical Bash, The Descent, and elements of The Summer Sideshow. As an added bonus, the Xbox versions will include exclusive content. Gamers will be able to spray their enemies with liquid nitrogen and shatter them to pieces with the Freezethrower weapon for the Survival Perk.

There will be 8 weapon skins available to customize your Xbox One and Xbox One X exclusive Freezethrower. Another piece of exclusive content will come in the form of the Wasteland Armor cosmetic uniform, with 5 different skin styles. The Xbox One X version will also be enhanced with 4k support, similar to what Tripwire Interactive did for the PlayStation 4 Pro.

Killing Floor 2 will also include integrated support for Mixer, Microsoft’s online streaming platform (think Twitch) and will allow for viewers to participate in various streams.

Read our review of Killing Floor 2  for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. We enjoyed the game, so we expect the Xbox One versions to be just as good.

Killing Floor 2 was originally released November 18th, 2016, on both the PC and PlayStation 4.
