Crunchyroll and Twitch Partner for an Anime Marathon

By Josh PiedraJuly 18, 2017
Crunchyroll

Twitch.tv has been branching out to more than just streaming video games as of late. They have streamed marathons of shows such as The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Mr. Rogers’ Neightborhood. Now, thanks to a new partnership with Crunchyroll, you can add an anime marathon to that list!

Starting on July 27 at 3pm PDT (6pm EDT), Twitch will be streaming a Crunchyroll marathon. The marathon will last for 5 days and feature over 15 anime hits from Crunchy’s streaming catalog! While a full schedule has yet to be announced, Twitch revealed a sample of what they will be streaming for their first three shows! The shows that will be shown, in full, are as follows:

  • July 27: Mob Psycho 100
  • July 27: Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid
  • July 28: Yuri!!! On ICE

Also, from July 27 through August 1, there will be a new, limited time chat emote available for free. It is the Crunchyroll Hime emote and can be previewed in the image below:
