No Current Plans For Any The Surge DLC

By Keith MitchellMay 19, 2017
Deck 13's - The Surge, mecha Soulslike is here.

Update: We’ve received confirmation that The Surge will release an official DLC release later in the 2017 holiday shopping season. As confirmed by Tim Schwank, in a recent interview we conducted at #E3 2017. Read about that and what to expect here.

So you’ve gotten hooked on Deck 13 Interactive’s The Surge, their latest title that is leaps and bounds better than their previous attempt. You’ve beaten it multiple times and now you’re looking for more. Well, if you’re waiting for any DLC to be released, you may be waiting for a long time. If ever for that matter.

I reached out to Deck 13 Interactive about any upcoming DLC plans and they don’t have any. Or if they did, they aren’t talking about them.

Currently no DLCs have been announced.

The game did just come out on May 16th, so I didn’t expect them to announce any DLC just yet. That also doesn’t rule out any DLC in the future. For the time being, however, if you’ve already beaten the game, you’ll just have to keep doing New Games.

The Surge is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Be sure to check out our review of the game here. Here’s a hint – this Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Demon’s Souls veteran simply loved it.
