Hey! Pikmin And Amiibo Coming Out July 28th

By Todd BlackApril 12, 2017
Hey! Pikmin

During the Nintendo Direct today, the company unveiled the official title to the first ever handheld Pikmin game. It’s going to be called Hey! Pikmin, and the story is how Olimar crash lands on a brand new planet that just so happens to be inhabited by his favorite little creatures.

You’ll use the Nintendo 3DS touch screen to throw Pikmin to where you need them to go, and you’ll explore a vast world looking for items and treasure to true and refuel Olimar’s ship. There’s plenty of secrets to be found too, so be on the lookout!

Also though, along with the games July 28th release date, there will also be a Pikmin Amiibo launching alongside it! Though Nintendo is withholding some of the abilities of the Amiibo, it was revealed that you can use it to summon some more Pikmin to your side in game.

So, are you excited for Hey! Pikmin? If so, let us know in the comments below! This is just another reason to not give up your Nintendo 3DS.
