What happens when you take a First Person Shooter and mash it up with a Bullet Hell Shooter? In this instance, you get Mothergunship, a newly announced title from Terrible Posture Games and Grip Digital for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A Bullet Hell FPS that puts you in control of Earth’s last hope against an unrelenting enemy.
MOTHERGUNSHIP mixes bullet-hell intensity with the shooting, customization, and traversal of the first-person genre. Fight your way through the alien fleets, facing randomized enemy and level mayhem as you clear rooms and take out some of the biggest bosses seen in the FPS genre.
I have to say that this is the first time I’ve seen an FPS combined with Bullet Hell elements, so this should be interesting. But there’s more, as you’re also able to craft your own blend of weapons, which is always fantastic. And You’ll be able to go at the enemy with a co-pilot in tow, as Mothergunship also supports co-op gameplay.
The title will be playable at PAX East 2017, which just happens to be the next event we’re heading out to. We’ll be sure to get plenty of info and hopefully footage as well. Stay Tuned!
