Despite it being a cult series of sorts, fans from all over have been wanting a new F-Zero game. While Nintendo has no plans of a new title or remake, that we know of, they are rehashing the series so far via the Virtual Console. As F-Zero X, the game that was on the N64, is now available in Japan and Europe.
There’s no word yet on when or if this title will hit the virtual console in Japan. But, it is possible, and very likely given how many classic titles are hitting the Virtual Console in the upcoming months, including Pokemon Snap among others.
