The final chapter of Takeshi Moriki’s manga adaptation of Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata (How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend), has been published in the September issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Dragon Age magazine. Moriki created the adaptation based on the Light Novel series by Fumiaki Maruto and Kurehito Misaki and has had it serialized since 2013. The manga’s tenth volume shipped to stores in Japan on July 25.

The manga is currently licensed by Yen Press for North American distribution. You can find reviews of those manga volumes by clicking the following links:

Yen Press describes the story of How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend as follows:

Aspiring visual-novel game designer Aki Tomoya thinks he’s just met his dream girl, but reality comes crashing down when he finds out that this girl is none other than his beautiful but boring classmate Megumi Kato! Fueled by a desire to make Megumi the heroine of his dating sim game, he recruits two more beauties–Eriri, his artistic childhood friend, and Utaha, a genius writing prodigy–to form Blessing Software. The road to making a dating sim game is full of fun and romance–especially when life begins to imitate art!

An anime adaptation for the series aired last year and is currently licensed for North American distribution by Aniplex of America. A review of the How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend anime can be found here as well. A sequel to the anime was announced and will begin airing some time in 2017.  Speaking of sequels, the manga is also slated to have a sequel as well.  Takeshi Moriki will be at the helm of this one as well and the official title is Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata Girls Side. The sequel is scheduled to start in the next issue of Kadokawa’s Monthy Dragon Age magazine.
