Could Blue Dragon Be Making Its Way to the Xbox One?

By Keith MitchellAugust 5, 2016

Easily one of my favorite RPG’s on the Xbox 360, Blue Dragon is still one of the reasons why I’ve still held onto my Xbox 360. Though, if what Phil Spencer is indeed true, things may change. Over on Twitter, he was asked if Blue Dragon was going to make it over as a backwards compatible title.

In true fashion, Phil didn’t say no but did give a cryptic yes to the question.

I'm not allowed to say but yes.

— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) August 4, 2016

Developed by the same team behind other classics such as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy, Blue Dragon was one of the earliest and more enjoyable RPGs on the Xbox 360. Of course having Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball) and Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) on board didn’t hurt its success.

Obviously, there’s no timeframe on when we’ll see it, but it’s good to know that it will eventually happen. Now if they can get Lost Odyssey worked on as well.
