While almost everyone in the nation is happily playing Pokémon Go, it seems not everything is peachy keen. It seems a teen, Shayla Wiggins ,in Wyoming came across a dead body that was floating in a river, during her search for some Pokémon. The police were called in to investigate and fish the body from the river. The death appears to be an accidental drowning, no evidence of foul play.

“I was walking towards the bridge along the shore when I saw something in the water,” Shayla said. “I had to take a second look and I realized it was a body.”

Oddly enough, there’s no idea how long the body has been there and likely wouldn’t have been found if it hadn’t been for Wiggin’s, searching for Pokémon. The teen was shocked and became briefly emotion, but then again I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t be in the shape after finding a deceased body in the wild.

That’s definitely one of the weirder Pokémon Go stories I’ve read about so far.

Pokémon Go was released this week in North America for both iOS and Android devices. Are you one of the many that’s trying to catch them all?
