Mighty No. 9 Delayed on Xbox 360, Mac and Linux

By Keith MitchellJune 21, 2016

Even though today is the day that Mighty No. 9 was supposed to be released for all platforms, it looks like there’s a bit of an issue. No, not regarding the game codes, but with yet another delay.  Thanks to an update over on the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter page, they’ve announced that the Xbox 360, Linux and Mac versions of Mighty No. 9 have been delayed.

It looks like the Xbox 360 version needs to go back through the certification process, as it failed the first time due to an undiscovered bug. However, all Xbox 360 backers will get a Steam key for now and the Xbox 360 key at a later date. The certification process also can take a while, so you may be waiting a bit.

As for the Mac and Linux versions, they’re currently in final testing. It’s odd that they haven’t been through this yet, however, Comcept INC is hopeful that it will be completed testing in the upcoming days. Again, I’m not sure why this is happening now when the release date was announced some time ago. Definitely not the news I’d want to hear, especially after backing the game and waiting three years for it.

Mega Bummer ;(
