New Dark Souls 3 trailer “True Colors” just increases the hype

By Keith MitchellFebruary 24, 2016

There’s a new Dark Souls 3 trailer making the rounds today, however this one is a departure from what we’ve seen so far. It seems that this one has put more emphasize on the game-play within the game, as well as different enemies making their debut and more locations shown. However the change of music seems to be telling us something as there’s no in-game music, but instead a remix of Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors”, by Richie Kohan is played over the trailer.

And yes, that was in-fact the FIRESAGE DEMON from Dark Souls!

And lastly and perhaps the most important piece here is that the trailer is in 1080p 60fps, which is odd as the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions were already confirmed to be locked at 30fps. So could this mean we’re seeing the PC version in action or just a highly up-scaled video from the current generation consoles.

Either way, there’s definitely enough shown off here to make any Dark Souls fan go crazy as they wait for the inevitable day that it’s released, which happens to be April 12, 2016 in North America. Just two more months friends, just two more…..

But if you don’t want to be spoiled, well I highly recommend you don’t watch this trailer.
