Arc System Works set to release 5 games by Q3 2016

By Clinton Bowman-ChristieDecember 8, 2015

While we knew that Guilty Gear Xrd -sign- was making its way to Steam tomorrow, December 9th, Arc System Works revealed today that they’ll be releasing 4 additional titles by Summer 2016.

FGC fans will be happy to hear that not only Guilty Gear Xrd -sign- will be coming to the PC, but also Under Night In Birth EXE: Late, Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code and BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma Extend.

Guilty Gear Xrd -sign- will be exactly like it’s PS4 counterpart, hosting a plethora of different modes, such as Gallery Mode, where players can view in-game illustrations and listen to the in-game BGM, Ranked and Player Matches as well as a fully immersive tutorial mode, and “M.O.M mode” for infinite gameplay and 17 returning and new characters! Elphet, Sin Kiske, and Leo Whitefang will be available as DLC, as well as unlockable with in-game currency. There are a few exceptions, including lack of cross play with the PlayStation counterparts and the omission of lobbies.

Those who purchase Xrd -sign- will also receive Daisuke Ishiwatari’s soundtrack album, “Vocal Collection,” a selection of Daisuke’s favorite vocal tracks, as well as the early purchase exclusive vocal version of the Revelator opening theme.

Next up on the release schedule is the latest entry into the BlazBlue series, Chrono Phantasma EXTEND, scheduled for release in February 2016, followed by French Bread’s Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code and Under Night in Birth EXE:Late, both scheduled for release in Spring and Summer of 2016 respectively.

Also, a game previously released on the Nintendo Entertainment System, and remade for the PlayStation 3, River City Ransom Super Sports Challenge ~All Stars Special~ will make its way to Steam this month.
