Update: Leaked Halo 5 The Unofficial Story trailer out in the wild

Update: Looks like Microsoft has posted the official trailer, which they recently set us. We’ve swapped the leaked trailer for the official trailer, which is the same thing.

This seems to be the week of leaks, first with the Street Fighter V leak and now this. Thanks to NeoGAF user Nowise10, who first broke the news of the leak, it seems a trailer for Halo 5: Guardians has been released by accident (or on purpose) ahead of the release of the game. Labeled as “Halo 5 The Unofficial Story“, it seems that this trailer follows the release of last week’s trailer, the one where Master Chief was supposedly killed in action.

But as we’ve seen in the past, the MC is one stubborn character. However, what’s the story here? Why is he marked? What’s the story and why is Spartan Locke and his squad tasked with taking him down?

Guess we’ll have to wait until October 27, 2015 to find out what the real story is. Good thing I’m on vacation that week to enjoy this upcoming ride.
