Guitar Hero Live commercial takes a page out of EA’s book

Regardless if you like or dislike EA and their games, you have to admit that their commercials from last years and this years Madden NFL titles have been pretty damned good, even if they are a bit over the top. Inspirations to bring in high celebrity stars to go on screen to promote a game has never been better and other companies, including Activision have taken note.

Case in point is the recently released trailer for Guitar Hero Live, which stars none other than James Franco and Lenny Kravitz, as attempt they to rock out on the upcoming game. And while it’s not as humours as the Madden NFL commericals, it’s defintitely on point.

Guitar Hero Live releases on October 20, 2015 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U and yes, even on Apple’s iOS devices.
