Harmonix announces that Rock Band 4 Xbox pre-orders are live

By Keith MitchellSeptember 23, 2015

Harmonix wants to let anyone and everyone know that their pre-orders are live for the upcoming Rock Band 4. Now you can head over to the Xbox Live store and pre-order you copy for either the Xbox One or Xbox 360, starting today. Just head on over to Xbox Live via your computer or access the store on your console.

As an incentive to pre-order over the Xbox Live store, gamers will receive 12 additional tracks that are only available for FREE via this Xbox-exclusive deal. Yes, Xbox-exclusive tracks, you won’t see these on the PlayStation versions.

Those tracks include:

  • All That Remains – “What If I Was Nothing”
  • BABYMETAL – “Gimme Chocolate!!”
  • Earth, Wind & Fire – “September”
  • Interpol – “All The Rage Back Home”
  • Jefferson Starship – “Jane”
  • Linkin Park ft. Daron Malakian – “Rebellion”
  • Marilyn Manson – “The Mephistopheles Of Los Angeles”
  • Mastodon – “High Road”
  • My Morning Jacket – “One Big Holiday”
  • Pierce The Veil ft. Kellin Quinn – “King For A Day”
  • “Weird Al” Yankovic – “My Own Eyes”
  • The Wild Feathers – “Backwoods Company”

Rock Band 4 will work with most previous wireless Xbox 360 Rock Band and third party wireless music game controllers via the Legacy Game Controller Adapter, sold separately. The adapter supports up to four wireless Rock Band controllers simultaneously as well as many third party wireless instrument controllers for Xbox 360.

This adapter is available at http://www.amazon.com/rb4adapter. During this exclusive pre-order window, players can enter the coupon code “RB4ADAPTER” at amazon.com for $15 off the adapter purchase. Standalone Xbox One instruments, including the Rock Band 4 Wireless Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controller and the Wireless Drum Kit will be available for purchase in early 2016.
