By Josh PiedraJuly 31, 2015

Hollywood news website The Tracking Board reported on Thursday that Lionsgate has closed the rights to adapt Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto manga into a film.

Lionsgate is in talks with Michael Gracey to direct. Gracey has previously worked in visual effects and animation, and is now directing several upcoming films, such as an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Witches and an Elton John biopic Rocketman.
