Silver Mario amiibo to be released on May 29

Likes like the news of a Silver Mario amiibo were true after all. Nintendo is now reporting that they will released a silver themed Mario amiibo that will be available to all retailers as of May 29, 2015 for $12.99. That’s right, this won’t be a store-exclusive amiibo, which should greatly increase everyone’s chances of getting one.

As with the other Mario amiibo figures that have already launched, the Mario – Silver Edition amiibo will have the same functionality and work with all games that are compatible with Mario amiibo.
