Here are some of the games I’m looking forward to in 2015

Bloodborne

  • Halo 5: Guardians – Xbox One

    Halo 5 Guardians
Say what you may but there’s no denying that Bungie has crafted a sci-fi universe with the creation of Halo. And while I may not agree on everything that its new owners, Microsoft and 343 Industries are handing everything I can’t deny the draw of Old’e Master Chief. The next chapter in the emotional Halo roller-coaster we’re introduced to yet another Spartan, Locke, who is tasked with not only attempting to save our galaxy but also hunting down the now misplaced Master Chief, who’s like still saddened over the lost of his best buddy.

  • Xenoblade Chronicles X – Wii U

    Xenoblade chronicles X
If there was any Wii U game that would force me to steal the Wii U from kids and place it into my mancave, this would be the game. Developed by Monolith Soft, Xenoblade Chronicles is the spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicles and is an open-world role-playing game with giant robots! Fly, shoot and much more on your journey to save your race from an alien-kind that’s hell bent on wiping you out. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it? Yeah, that Wii U is totally going to disappear when this game finally drops.

    Sorry kids!

  • Batman: Arkham Knight – PC

    Batman_arkham_knight
You had me with the addition of the mysterious Arkham Knight, Rocksteady. But then you had to go and put the Batmobile into the game. The mutha f’ng Batmobile and it’s huge arsenal of weapons and it’s sexy lines…. On top of that we’ve getting to play in a setting that’s 5 times bigger than their last outing, Arkham city. And Arkham city was freaking large. Combine that with a host of baddies; Two-face, Penguin, Harley Quinn, Riddler and the Arkham Knight himself, this looks to be the proper send off to the Arkham series for sure. Oh and this is also a current-gen outing, meaning this is only for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Getting ready folks, the Batman is coming.

  • Children of Morta – PC

    Children of Morta - PC

Get this, you’re a family that’s tasked with defending a sacred mountain and we all know family’s don’t always get along. Children of Morta is a 16-bit pixel art style, action role-playing roguelike title that will have you hacking and slashing anything that attempts to invade your family duty. Your god of Mount Morta has been corrupted and it’s up to the family to reach the peak of the mountain and find out what’s going on and attempt to repair the damage before it’s too late. This title is an exception on this list as it hasn’t fully going into production and a Kickstarter campaign will be launched on January 20th, 2015 to get the needed funding to finish up.

Well it’s going to get my money as fast as I can throw it at my PC screen, that’s for sure. For more info on the title, head over to http://childrenofmorta.com.

    •  Mortal Kombat X – PC/PS4

    Mortal-Kombat-X_750x400

The next chapter in the rebooted Mortal Kombat series, Mortal Kombat X looks to raise the stakes even higher. MKX takes place 25 years after the events of Mortal Kombat 9 and rest assured there will be plenty of new X-ray attacks, special movies, gorier fatalities, plus the ability that allows fighters to interact with the environment and surroundings to use as weapons or even bounce your enemies off of for deadlier combos.

Yep, soon it will be time to “Finish Him or Her” all over again and I can’t wait.

      • Galak-Z

        Galak-Z-The-Dimensional-SS-2

It’s fair to say that ever since I’ve heard about Galak-Z and going further, since I’ve played it at PAX East, I’ve been counting down the days until it’s release. A 16-bit styled top-down, dual stick sh’ump that’s all about exploration , battling hordes of baddies and  leveling up your ship by collecting materials that you earning during missions and you got yourself a fun time to be had. Did I mention this title is coming to the PlayStation 4, PS Vita and PC?

So there you have it, just a few games that I’m looking forward to playing. How about you? Any specific games that you can’t wait to play in 2015? Let me know below in the comments!
