ALL YOU NEED IS KILL Original Soundtrack to the Animated Film OUT NOW

By Josh PiedraJanuary 22, 2026
All You need is kill

Milan Records today announces the release of ALL YOU NEED IS KILL (ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK) featuring music by Japanese composer YASUHIRO MAEDA. Available everywhere now, the album features an original score written by Maeda for the animated film adaptation of the hugely popular light novel. A longtime collaborator to acclaimed composer Joe Hisaishi, Maeda now brings his talents to the newest iteration of the science fiction storyline. Directed by Kenichiro Akimoto at STUDIO 4°C., All You Need Is Kill debuts in North American theaters on January 16 via GKIDS – tickets here.

ALL YOU NEED IS KILL

Of the soundtrack, composer YASUHIRO MAEDA says,

“I didn’t write this soundtrack to tell a story, but to create sounds that enhance the visual experience. Listening to the music on its own, I feel the album ended up having a much broader range than I originally expected.”
