Netflix’s Avatar The Last Airbender Series Gets Full Trailer

By Todd BlackJanuary 23, 2024
Avatar The Last Airbender

If you were to ask me about some of the animated series that heavily affected my life, Avatar, The Last Airbender, and The Legend of Korra are on that list. The two were standout series in a time when many wondered if hand-drawn animation still had the ability to inspire the world. Trust me, they did. And when a certain movie director tried to make a live-action adaptation of the first book of ATLA, we were excited…until we saw it (I was luckily spared that horrible fate) and realized that it shouldn’t be made into live-action. But then Netflix wanted to give it a try.

The series has been LONG in the works, but today, the first full trailer for their live-action version of Avatar The Last Airbender has arrived, and…it looks good. I won’t spoil what’s in the trailer, but fans of the show will see all sorts of references and characters that you’ll want to see more of. It remains to be seen if this will hold up to the high standards that ATLA fans will have for it…but there is hope.
