Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition Revealed

By Keith MitchellFebruary 21, 2024
Elden Ring - Shadow of the Erdtree Collectors Edition

Today was the day that Bandai Namco and Fromsoftware stopped the world by not only showing off the upcoming Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree trailer but also revealing that the game, which is a DLC, mind you, is getting a collector’s edition.

Update: The Collector’s Edition page went live, and the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition is priced at $249.99, and the Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree Helmet Of Messmer The Impaler is priced at $189.99.

I don’t know many DLC add-ons that get an entire collector’s edition to themselves, yet here we are. And let me say that this Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition looks damned good.

Here’s what is included in the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition

  • Copy of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
  • 18-inch Statue of Messmer The Impaler
  • 40-page Hard Cover Artbook
  • Shadow of the Erdtree Official Soundtrack

Elden Ring - Shadow of the Erdtree Collectors EditionIn addition to the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition, there’s also the Helmet of Messer the Impaler, which shows up on the Europe Bandai Namco store. This Helmet is from the new baddie of the DLC, and is a 1:1 scale replica of the one worn by Messmer The Impaler in the game.

Pure Arts has crafted it with meticulous attention to detail and top-quality materials. This limited-edition, store-exclusive, individually numbered helmet is a superb collector’s item for all Elden Ring fans.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Helmet of Messer the Impaler is limited to 9,999 pieces and is priced at $189.99.

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Helmet of Messer the ImpalerSo far, neither the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition nor the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Helmet of Messer have shown up on the North America Bandai Namco store. This worries me since the last time this happened, with the Elden Ring Collector’s Edition, Bandai Namco dropped the ball and put this up for sale when most of the country was sleeping, allowing it to get purchased by scalpers. I hope this doesn’t happen again.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has a release date of June 21, 2024, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
