Today is a day that fans have been waiting on for months. The Death Battle Kickstarter has gone live and it’s already crushing all expectations! For context, the show was previously owned by Rooster Teeth and other companies over the years. However, when RT shut down, Ben Singer, Chad James and the other DB members came together to buy the show and make it fully independent. They decided to make a Kickstarter to help raise funds to make a set of four episodes, and possibly more based on how well the community showed out.
At the time of this writing, the Death Battle Kickstarter is almost at $250,000 raised! It met its goal in like 20 minutes!!! That means it’s already met its goal and smashed several stretch goals! Multiple episodes have been confirmed, including Kratos/Asura, Omni-Man/Bardock and episode 200…ASH vs. YUGI!!! Check out the video below and then pledge to the Kickstarter to keep Death Battle alive for a LONG time!
