The Penguin Gets Official Trailer and Release Date

The City Will Be His

The Penguin

The state of the DC Comics movie/TV universe is honestly really confusing right now. The official DCU doesn’t start until 2025, but the “Elseworlds” projects are still going on, like the second Joker movie, the final season of Superman & Lois, and The Batman side universe, which had its first movie come out in January, and yet the sequel hasn’t started filming yet. However, The Penguin, starring Colin Farrell, is meant to help continue the tale of Gotham and its citizens, and a new trailer dropped today for it.

In it, we see Oswald Cobb reacting to the near-destruction of Gotham, and starting to make moves to get power from the Falcone family now that Carmine is dead. However, he will meet opposition from both of Falcone’s children, including Sofia. Violence will erupt, and Gotham will be left reeling. The Penguin arrives in September on Max, check out the trailer below:

Never underestimate him.
