Splatoon 3 States The Next Splatfest Is All About The FLUFFY!!!!

By Todd BlackApril 5, 2024
Splatoon 3, Splatfest

As fans of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast know, I love playing the Splatoon 3 Splatfest events that happen every month or so…you know…unless I’m getting destroyed by enemy players, that is. But what’s really weirded out my co-hosts and I over the last year are the rather “random ideas” for the events. And if you think we’re being a little too “hard” on the subjects, just take a look at what was announced today for this month’s Splatfest. It’s a battle of fluffy animals and which “fuzzy fluffiness” you like the best!

Big news about the Spring Fest has just hopped into our office! The theme asks: "Which fuzzy fluffiness do you like most?"

Baby Chicks, Li'l Bunnies, or Bear Cubs?

Yes, this is real, and it’s SO WEIRD! Don’t get me wrong; cute little animals are something to be praised and cherished! However, for Splatoon 3 to use it as a focus of one of their battle events? That’s…a bit odd, wouldn’t you say?

I’m not sure who I’m picking in this “fight,” but it’ll be interesting to see who wins when the event drops later this month!
