No Rest For The Wicked: How To Increase Equipment Load With The Feather Ring

By Keith MitchellApril 19, 2024
No Rest for the Wicked - Feather Ring

In No Rest For The Wicked, you’ll find out that equipment, such as weapons and armor, will quickly reduce your ability to move and dodge and will reduce your stamina. However, you can mitigate that if you increase your equipment load stat or inf items that directly affect equipment load. One such item is the Feather Ring, and it’s quite easy to find early on in the game. Unlike other items, since it’s in a key location, it will never change locations.

How to find the Feather Ring in No Rest For The Wicked

The Feather Ring will help you reduce your equipment load, making it easier to equip heavier gear in the game. If you’re a Dark Souls player, this is basically Havel’s Ring! To find it, head to Sacrament, the main town/city in No Rest For The Wicked. You’ll need to walk to the marketplace.

Once there, you’ll need to speak with the vendor called Grinnich and select the buy option.

You’ll see an item called the Feather Ring in Grinnich’s wares. If you have the money, purchase it.

When you equip this item, it doesn’t directly affect your equipment load stat, but if you pay attention to the character screen at the bottom, which shows your current weight, you’ll see that it will become lower with the item equipped.

The only downside to this ring is that it does take up a ring slot, so if you were depending on that, you may want to rethink it. But for those who don’t care, this is a great item.

No Rest For The Wicked has been released as an Early Access title for the PC on Steam. Be sure to return for more of our guides.
