Rightfully, Beary Arms is a shooting action roguelite similar to Enter the Gungeon, and The Outerhaven had a chance to speak with Chris Bischke, the co-founder of Daylight Basement Studios, on the status of the game and why it is so damned fun, during PAX East 2024.

Rightfully, Beary Arms is a bullet hell roguelite that is about much more than collecting loot, dying and losing everything, then repeating. Carefully choose enemy upgrades against your own, then plan your dungeon crawl tactfully to gun through unique factions of enemies, strategically preserving loot after death.

Rightfully, Beary Arms is currently available via Early Access on Steam and is verified and playable on the Steam Deck, so be sure to give it a try if you own Valve’s portable powerhouse handheld PC.
